Expanding into Meigs County
The Love Light Movement recently attended the annual Senior day event hosted by United Seniors of Athens County! It was a beautiful event which worked to help connect seniors to resources throughout the community of Athens County. A large number of organizations showed up to make available the resources they offered which was a wonderful sight to see. We met many new people and felt a great sense of community and connection over the course of the day.
There were also some very fun events over the course of the day including prize raffles and line dancing!! And, it should be noted that there were some excellent dancers among us that day. It was a pleasure to witness members of the community come together and connect as well as share available resources for the seniors of our community and the Love Light Movement is extremely grateful to have been a part of it.
