About
The LLM is now working to provide service, love, and connection to other beings around Ohio. We are a new group who is very small in numbers. We have zero paid workers so volunteers are very important to us. If you are interested in the ideas of the LLM or just want to find ways you can be of help to others, and meet/connect with more people this may be the place for you
What to Expect
- Currently Food Prep is done on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday afternoons. Start time is 1pm for both days.
- We work out of the shared commercial kitchen space AceNet. Located at 94 Columbus Rd, Athens, OH 45701.
- You will be trained in food safety by one of senior volunteers.
- You are required to wear food safe gloves, hair net and beard net (if applicable). All food safety gear will be provided.
- New food prep volunteers will be plating meals, wrapping meals in foil or bagging meals for delivery.
- Meals are currently served at the shopping center in The Plains every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Meal run times are 5:00pm – 6:00pm.
- You will be trained in food safety by one of senior volunteers.
- You are required to wear food safe gloves, hair net and beard net (if applicable). All food safety gear will be provided.
