LLM Meals
One of the LLM’s main initiatives at this time is to help provide free food to those who need it. We do this through food donations from restaurants, eating establishments, and individuals who have leftover food. Rather than throwing out such leftovers, the LLM takes them and gives them out at our free take-home meals and meal delivery sessions in The Plains, Ohio (between the Piggly Wiggly and the Dollar General). Many restaurants throw out massive amounts of food at the end of the day, while at the same time, an extensive number of people are living hungry. The LLM’s goal is to bridge this gap by taking all this excess food from eating establishments and giving it to those facing food insecurity.
Free Meal Notification Signup
The Love Light Movement holds free meals each week where anyone can come grab to go box’s and take home free meals. Often times these meals are held outside of the Piggly Wiggly in The Plains Ohio. We hope to begin expanding to new locations in Chauncey soon. To be notified each time were having a free meal put your phone number in the box and you will receive a text with the date, time, and location of the free take home meal.
Donate Food
If you are in a situation were you have excess amounts of food don’t let it goto waste! If your working with food at a restaurant, an institution, or you just have alot of leftovers from a large event well take them and they will goto the people of Athens, The Plains, and Chauncey. Are only requirement is that the food be in good condition and was properly stored.
